Our beginnings and business foundations:

MAR-POL was founded 20 years ago. From the very beginning, we focused on

producing and selling natural seasoning blends designed for the demanding food service sector and food processing plants. As our business grew rapidly and in response to our customers’ needs, we steadily expanded our product range by introducing packaged single-ingredient spices and carefully selected dried herbs.

Technological development – fried onions:

The launch of a modern onion-frying production line 10 years ago truly reflected our technological progress and commitment to innovation. This investment enabled us to achieve outstanding product characteristics: exceptional crispiness, frying stability and distinctive flavour. Today, our onions—prepared using rapeseed oil or palm frying fat—reach satisfied customers in both domestic and international markets.

Innovation and sustainability – cherry pits:

The third and equally important pillar of our company is the production and sale of dried cherry pits. Thanks to strict standards—including the correct moisture level and controlled-temperature drying that prevents microbial growth—our raw material meets the highest quality requirements. It is widely used as an eco-friendly filling for heat pillows and toys.
